Sean Turrell
Sean Turrell is a sculptor working with sexual form. In Birth (above) he combines the botanical with the human
creating something that is overtly phallic emerging from a vaginal form. He transposes the human sex organs onto
the sex organs of a flower, creating a hermaphroditic image that evokes the coital act. Turrell
lives in Mt. Pocono, PA. He received his BFA from the University of South Florida.
